Department Profile
Established in the early 1960s, the Air Purification Testing Department is China's earliest research institution for air cleanliness technology. We have spearheaded the development of national standards such as GB 50591 (Cleanroom Construction and Acceptance) and GB 50333 (Hospital Clean Operating Department).
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we served as the "National Team," undertaking testing and validation for all domestic inactivated vaccine workshops and high-level biosafety laboratories, including mobile nucleic acid testing labs and negative pressure isolation wards.
